Helena Liu
Meditech investor, a Hong Kong financial market license holder and an Asset Management specialist.
Before her Asset Management position in the Hong Kong market (VP of Wisdom Asset Management, VP of Target Capital), Helena also has more than ten years of experience in corporate finance and M&A in the pharmaceutical (AstraZeneca) and medical devices (Philips Investment, China) industries.
Helena holds a Master of Commerce, Finance and Information Systems from the University of Sydney.

Alan co-founded a technology startup (Gentech/Jiangrui Computer Systems) when he was a third-year university student and exited in 4.5 years. After that, Alan worked for 12 years in strategy consulting (Partners in Performance, Accenture Strategy) and corporate strategy (PLUS ES). He was also a strategic partnership executive in AGL New Energy (corporate venture).
Alan holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Master of Computer Science and a Bachelor of Theoretical Physics from Nanjing University.

An international VC veteran with 20 years of experience in early-stage investment
Curt Shi is the founding partner of Imprint Capital Partners, Follow [The] Seed, Welinder & Shi Capital and ProDigital Future Fund, focusing on the complex but massive opportunities in markets such as Australia, Israel, America and China. His recent successful public portfolios include ASX-listed Catapult Sports (ASX:CAT), Jayride (ASX: JAY), Sezzle (ASX:SZL) and Airtasker (ASX:ART). Also, some fast-growing investments such as Cake, SYNG and STEPN.
Curt has also been an active mentor at incubators and accelerators such as Muru-D, Hax/ Orbits, Stone and Chalk, Startupbootcamp, G5 and Chinaccelerator and a frequent speaker for various start-up events.
Curt was the 2016 winner of "the CPA Australia Australia China Alumni Award for Banking and Finance" by the Australia China Alumni Association, a finalist for the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alumni Award” of Western Sydney University in 2017, and a 2022 finalist again “Austrade – Australia China Alumni Award for Entrepreneurship & Innovation” by the ACAA (Australia China Alumni Association).

Stu is the CEO and Co-Founder of UPowr, a SaaS cleantech company. Prior to UPowr, Stu was the Head of Strategic Partnerships at AGL Energy New Energy (corporate venture capital and incubator). In New Energy, he was involved in multiple deals with world-leading innovators. As a former rugby league player, Stu Co-Founded The Graduates of League Program covering 16 NRL clubs across Australia and New Zealand.
Stu holds a Master of Finance from the University of New South Wales and a double Bachelor of Law and Commerce from the University of Wollongong.

Deep technology investor, Healthcare Industry Expert
Hover is an experienced deep tech investor (Partner of Shanghai Rizhang Investment). Prior to his involvement in the early-stage startup investment, he also worked as an investment manager in Australian hedge funds (Caledonia Investment and Ellerson Capital).
He was the early investor and Chair of the Board of Supervisors* for Zhonghe Bioscience, which later merged and evolved into two listed companies Junshi Bioscience and Mabwell Bioscience.
Hover holds the Master in Corporate Finance from the Chinese Academy of Social Science and the Bachelor of Engineering from the Beijing University of Posts & Telecoms
*Board of Supervisors is a governance structure in China, which is similar to the non-executive directors in Australia
Betty Zhang
Healthcare investor, biomedical researcher, commercialisation specialist
Betty is passionate about early stage healthcare innovation and is experienced in medical research (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute), biotech equity analysis (Churchill Asset Management) and healthcare commercialisation. Betty co-founded the Melbourne Bioinnovation Student Initiative, supporting the creation of student-led health ventures at the University of Melbourne. Before joining Boson Ventures, she was the Early Innovation Lead at the MedTech Actuator, a leading healthcare accelerator in Asia-Pacific.
Betty holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology (Immunology specialisation) from the University of Melbourne.
